Passing of Bruce Blair #1782

Sadly, I have learned that our brother and friend, Bruce Blair passed away on Friday October 18, 2024, due to complications of pneumonia. Bruce was 79 years of age.

Bruce joined CPS in 1975 and spent his career in areas such as TAC as a Constable and as a Sergeant, Drugs, CID, Homicide and 2 GIU. After 35 years of service, Bruce retired and continued to be an avid hunter and outdoorsman. 

He leaves behind his four sons, Brent, Nick, Jason and Matt. I spoke to Brent and he and his brothers are coping with their loss as well as can be expected, but Brent mentioned that over the course of the weekend they were contacted by a few of Bruce’s close friends on the Job. Stories that were shared really brought their spirts up. As Bruce had requested, there will be no funeral.
