Obituary of George Gourdinne #1195
1937 - 2023
Hi all,
By now many of you will have learned of the passing of our brother and friend, George Gourdinne. George has been battling heart issues for a long time and sadly passed away on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, at the age of 86.
He served the citizens of Calgary for 28 and a half years with the CPS.
He’s remembered as an ethical and friendly workmate. George served proudly on the Board of Directors of the CPVA for many years and was the Director who arranged the monthly lunches, barbeques and Christmas dinners. George and Joan were a fixture at CPVA events, he’ll be sadly missed.
Funeral services for George will be held at McInnis & Holoway, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, on Saturday October 21st at 10:00 a.m.
A reception will be held at the Cuff and Billy Club, 3730 Westwinds Drive NE after the Service.
