Passing of John Allen #1736

Sadly, I was contacted this morning by John’s son, Craig Allen, letting me know that John had passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2022. As many of you will recall, in September of this year, I notified the membership that John was not well. His wife, Caroline, told me that his spirits were raised immensely by all of the emails he received and the visits from old friends. He was truly touched by all of your kind words and gestures. 
 
Since John passed away at home, CPS attended and upon them leaving the scene, they activated their overhead lights and sounded the siren in John’s honour. Johns family, who were in attendance, appreciated this gesture greatly.

It is too early to announce when a service or celebration of life will take place, but when I find out, I will let you all know.
