John Roslyn Hibbert, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. John was born May 7, 1931 in Bath, England and married his wife, Margaret, in 1953. John moved his young family to Calgary in 1957 and joined the Calgary Police Service, where he served until his retirement in 1986. 

He was a kind-hearted man who loved spending time with family and friends, and taking sun vacations and cruises. 

John is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret; sons, David (Alexis), and Colin (DeeDee); daughter Jackie Raby (Mark); granddaughters, Samantha (Ryan), Kelsey, Jessie, Danae Barrett (Jeff), and Julia and Candice Raby; and four great-grandchildren. 

A Celebration of John's Life will be held at a later date.
