Hello Calgary Police Vets,

My name is Dave Peskor and I am a recently published local author. In a shameless effort to promote my book, PRAIRIE FIVE-0, I am reaching out to various police associations. I lived my entire forty-year career in Alberta and the majority of my tales originated in the Redcliff and Medicine Hat areas. There are a number of stories from my time in the Calgary Police Booking Office between 1974 and 1977 as well.

The book contains no Cop drama. Instead, I poke fun at myself, my colleagues and the many colorful characters we encountered as we strove to “Serve and Protect”. I think that due to the local Southern Alberta flavor, my book will be of interest to you.
